Is there an Advanced or Accelerated course for Math & YOU?

Through the Advanced Pathway, students are identified in Grade 5 to start acceleration in Grade 6. In Grade 6, students cover all Grade 6 content, along with approximately half of the Grade 7 material integrated into the scope and sequence. Moving into Grade 7, they continue with the remaining Grade 7 content and the integrated Grade 8 material, setting the stage for Algebra 1 readiness in Grade 8.

Are there pre-made videos for students to use when they miss class or are out for an extended period of time?

Yes, each example comes with a video, so if students miss class or are out for an extended period of time, they still have access to lesson content explained as if they were in class. Each lesson in K-5 has a Key Concept example video and the Connect to Real Life or Connect to Data video. In 6-12, there are multiple examples per lesson, and each example has their own video.

In addition to all the Spanish Support materials available for M&Y/C&C, what other language support is available?

Audio translation for kindergarten through Algebra 2 is available using ReadSpeaker in the digital experience for the following resources: Big Idea of the Chapter, Getting Ready for the Chapter, In-Class Practice, Practice, Warm-Up, Performance Task, Connecting Big Ideas, Skill Builder, Skill Foundations

What standards are your programs aligned to?

We work to align our programs to standards best suited for their use. Our national math programs from Big Ideas Learning are aligned to Common Core State Standards (CCSS). We also offer state-specific editions and additional standard correlations upon request.

What standards are your Advanced Placement® programs aligned to?

We work to align our programs to standards best suited for their use. Our AP titles will be aligned to the latest available framework set by the College Board for AP exams.
